A SEAT IN THE SUN

  1. In recognition of her service in the Westwood Works Medical Centre from 1947 to 1975, Sister Doris Moules was presented with this seat as a retirement gift. This medical centre was extremely well equipped for the time, even possessing an X-ray machine.

  2. The prize in the Westwood Works’ Sports Club Supporters’ Association Christmas Draw in 1968 was this garden seat, made by Plate Shop apprentices.
