HISTORY OF SOCIETE NOUVELLE F.I.M.A. SARL, FRANCE

Was formed on 1st April 1982 as a 100% owned subsidiary of Pavailler S.A. to operate the business of Societe Francaise d'Isothermie et du Material Alimentaire situated in Ham, France. The new company was incorporated to rent the assets of FIMA from the official receiver under the system known in France as "Location-Gerance". Baker Perkins undertook to operate and finance the business for four years, after which, if trading proved successful, it would have been possible to acquire the goodwill and fixed assets of the former independent company.

Fima S.a.r.l. employed 52 people and its products – refrigerated cabinets for the patisserie baker - were distributed through the Pavailler sales network.
